As the face of their farming community, they focus on the ethics of equitable value distribution and socioeconomic empowerment. The coffee is single-origin, thus increasing traceability and transparency. Solai Coffee focuses on doing direct business with its farmer, eliminating the middleman, and compensating them fairly.
"Solai" This term means "a place of many trees," which also characterizes joy and a serene place to be. As a result, It was easy for them to go the name as the brand identity.
Solai is a town in Nakuru County, Kenya. It is located about 12 miles from the county capital, Nakuru, and has a population of about 35,000. It has an elevation of about 6200 ft. above sea level, making it suitable for Tea, Coffee, and horticulture farming. This farming community is vibrant, and people carry bright smiles wherever they go. The family has been farming coffee for almost 4 decades as one of the pioneer small-scale farms in the location.
